Our Heat Sink Alignment Kit allows technicians to measure pressure distribution and magnitude between a heat sink and heat source. The actual pressure test is quite quick requiring less than 5 minutes. The results appear instantaneously and are quickly interpretable by visual observation.
Fujifilm Prescale® (formerly known as Pressurex®) sold by Sensor Products Inc., is a unique pressure indicating sensor film that reveals both pressure distribution and magnitude between any two contacting or impacting surfaces. Fujifilm Prescale® is a paper-thin film-like material that instantaneously and permanently captures a pressure profile “snapshot” by changing color. Conceptually similar to Litmus paper, the color Fujifilm Prescale® turns is directly proportional to the amount of pressure applied.
Kit includes
• Three 12” x 10.6” sheets of Fujifilm Prescale® for surface pressure measurement ranging from 70 to 7,100 PSI.
• Prepaid FedEx envelope to send back 1 sheet of film for further analysis.
• Color Correlation Book.
